Contenu
This course studied over two semesters forms an introduction to the language and literature of Old and Middle English. Its aim is to provide the linguistic and cultural background necessary for the second-certificate literary seminars, as well as to give insight into the extent of the English literary heritage. The seminars during the winter semester will provide an introduction to Old English language and literature; the focus during the summer will be Middle English.
