Objective

To teach the basic concepts and principles of ecology.
To stimulate interest for ecology and ecological applications.
To provide an overview of ecology and acquire the basic knowledge of ecology.
To provide some background for a better understanding of other teachings in biology within the faculty.

3. The organism in the environment
4. Population ecology
5. Biological interactions
6. Community and landscape ecology
7. Ecosystem ecology
8. Biogeographical ecology
9. Human ecology and global change
