Objectif

Tutorial in the thematic field "Quantitative Biology (QB)"

Modern, high throughput data generation methods allow the production of comprehensive data sets and thus a quantitatively unique analysis of many biological phenomena.

The tutorial "Reasoning and Logic in Experimental and Computational Biology" has the aim to illustrate the unique conceptual approaches to appropriate experimental design, data analysis and data interpretation required when using high throughput methods.

 

Contenu

Presentation and discussion of published examples of the application of high throughput DNA sequencing and other genomic methods, applied to a range of different biological questions.
