Objective

Presentation of assessment procedures in vocational and counseling psychology.
Presentation of assessment procedures in industrial and organizational settings.

Content

This course will review the following topics: Assessment processes, psychometric characteristics of assessment procedures, bias in psychological assessment, testing and assessment in cross-cultural. These aspects will be considered according to two assessment settings: Psychological assessment in vocational and counseling settings, and psychological assessment in industrial and organizational settings. This course will focus on three assessment methods: assessment of intellectual functioning, assessment of interests, and assessment of personality and psychopathology.
