* Types of metamorphism in relation to the geological context and plate tectonics
* The representation of metamorphism by metamorphic zones
* Metamorphic facies and isograds
* The structure and texture of metamorphic rocks
* The relations between crystallisation and deformation
* Equilibria and metamorphic reactions
* Petrogenetic grids
* Matamorphism of ultramafitic rocks: carbonate, pelitic, granitic and basic
* petrographic description of metamorphic rocks with polorisation microscopy
