Objective
This course aspires to give to the bachelor students in Sport Science, several theoretical, abstract and more practical first inputs around sport/physical education pedagogy.
The course is firstly dedicated to those interested to become PE teacher, but due to the definitions and the analyses proposed, it also has to feed the training of students interested in all kind of jobs within the sport sphere.
Content
The course is structured around various keywords (school system, pedagogy, program, education, teacher), which will be questioned and analysed during the semester, around definitions, contents and social utility.
From the geographical and thematic point of view, the course will proceed from the local (Waadt) to the global, by looking at several examples in the school system around Lausanne but also in other international dynamics from sport pedagogy.
