The main aim of the first semester is to improve production of different types of narratives, in particular by mastering the use of verbal tenses. Theoretically and linguistically, the question of the use of narrative tenses will be addressed with the study of a few essential articles and their didactic transpositions in different grammars. Writing a fairy tale will allow the students to experiment on a practical level the theoretical elements discussed in class and to familiarize themselves with the use of "passé simple" in French. The second semester deals with the question of levels of language in French, both syntactically and lexically. An interview transcription will be used to deepen the understanding of the specificities of spontaneous oral expression.
