theoretical objectives: basics in descriptive and inferential statistics, as well as quantitative epistemology

practical objectives: numerical and graphical summaries of data; practice of hypothesis testing

Content

The course (2h weekly, plus an additional 1h exercises) is a conceptual and practical introduction to Quantitative Methods. It adresses the basics of descriptive and inferential Statistics, with special emphasis on relationships among three variables, as well as on the concept of entropy and related quantities.
