Objective

This geological field mapping cours gives participants the possibility to learn and practice geological mapping, and to analyze the structures in three dimensions and their prolongation into the underground. The participants learn how to draw the boundaries between different rock members or formations on topographic maps, which outcrop at the surface and how to measure their strike and dip. They will furthermore learn how to interpret the history of landscapes and its geology
