Objective

- To evidence major turnovers in the way urban planning has been put into practice in the last three decades.

- To identify the methodological and pragmatic hints allowing to satisfy the demands and challenges of sustainable urban development 1

Content

The course sessions will begin with lectures, case studies and conferences. At a second stage, the students will be asked to work in groups for a seminar assignment completed by an oral presentation.

Evaluation

The students are required to do a seminar assignment (working in pairs or in groups of three). This assignment will be drafted and presented within the course. They will be asked to follow several common rules regarding the preparation of the work, the expected feedback, its drafting and the final report and rating as well.
