Objective

Improve knowledge of classic study designs used in individual oriented medical research
Prepare a short research protocol based on the discussed and written material.
Arouse documentary research on methodological aspects of clinical medical research and their application in practice.

Content

Participants complete the set programme:
write up a short research protocol (5-6 pages) focusing on methodological aspects and answering the questions asked for at least one theme
present his project during a seminar (30 minutes structured presentation)
participate actively to all seminars, which implies the study of each seminar's theme and interacting during the presentation discussions
The first 3 sessions will target main methdological aspects of the study designs used in clinical research, as well as the content and format of protocols. The following sessions will be dedicated to students' presentations.
