Objective

Tutorial in the thematic field "Cancer and Immunology"

Understanding the experimental basis for some of the central concepts in immunology, their molecular explanation today and their applications.

Content

A thorough discussion of selected milestone papers in Immunology.
Each student will introduce and lead the discussion of one key paper covering:
- what was the dogma / the new concept / how was this demonstrated / what was the technological advance needed
- today what is the molecular explanation / what are the implications / applications.
The selection of papers will be discussed with the students, a few ideas are indicated below.
