Master of Arts (MA) in the Study of Religions (2015 ->)

Degree :Master of Arts (MA) in the Study of Religions
Programme requirements :The student validates the 5 study-units of the programme of study of the Master in the Study of religions.

- Advanced courses in the Study of religions : history of the discipline and methods
- Approaches : advanced level
- Area Studies A and B : advanced level
- Specific compentencies
- Master dissertation
Each study-unit or intermediate study-unit consists of courses evaluated by validations (individual written or oral work, oral presentation during teaching, continuous checks or tests, practical work, ...) or exams.
If a student fails the second attempt of one or more evaluations in the 'Specific Competences' module, that student may opt for another course, provided she/he remains within the course of study deadline.
The Master dissertation study-unit is evaluated by an oral exam.
The study-units are succeded if the evaluations are succeded. To successfully complete these study-units, all the credits corresponding to the concerned study-units have to be aquired.
The disseration consists on the achievement of a personal and original work corresponding to an amount of work of 30 credits ECTS, consisting of a manuscript of 100'000 signs (spaces and appendix not comprised), or any equivalent agreement.
The dissertation is supervised by a lecturer of a doctoral degree or a professor, who takes part in the Master programm, and associated to one of the Faculties which co-deliveres the Master degree.
