Melt inclusions entrapment mechanisms and their effects on MI composition

this project aims to better understand the different mechanisms of MI entrapment and their potential effect on chemical and isotopic compositions

Chlorine isotopes in melt inclusions

Measurements of chlorine isotopes in melt inclusions by SIMS in order to trace the sources of Cl input into the mantle wedge, and to understand the different chlorine isotopic compositions of melt inclusions from some arcs.

Study of primary magmas from subduction zone settings

Analysis of melt inclusions trapped in magnesian olivines
Measurements of volatiles, light and trace elements, coupled with stable isotopes
