European Competition in Human Rights René Cassin (Strasbourg, April 2009): Third Place ranked by the University of Lausanne (out of 16 European teams) and First Place at the Swiss level in 2009

The University of Lausanne (UNIL) was represented by the students Nathalie Comte, Deborah Donoso Moreta and Julien Tanguy. At the European Competition René Cassin 2009 (Moot Courts, simulated pleadings on Human Rights), the team of students of the University of Lausanne coached by Cédric Genton, one of the assistents of the Department of Public International Law, ranked the UNIL at the first place of the Swiss Universities and at the third place of the European Universities.

European Competition in Human Rights René Cassin (Strasbourg, 7th April 2010): Second Place Ranked by the University of Lausanne (out of 16 European Teams) and First Place at the Swiss level in 2010

At the European Competition René Cassin 2010 (Moot Courts, simulated pleadings on International Human Rights), the University of Lausanne was represented by the students Amélie Giroud, Marie-Jeanne Rapp and Constance Weill. They were coached by Mr Cédric Genton, assistant at the Chair of Public international Law. The team had to fight against 15 European universitary teams. The Swiss students gained the first place at the Swiss level and the second place at the European level. The finalist was the team of the University of Paris X Nanterre.
